Changes To Nikkei-TOCOM Commodity Index Components

Tokyo Commodity Exchange, Inc. (“TOCOM” or the “Exchange”) revised components and weights of the Nikkei-TOCOM Commodity Index for the second time on May 25,2010 and decided not to include Gas Oil on and after June 1, 2010.

Tokyo Commodity Exchange, Inc. (“TOCOM” or the “Exchange”) today announced that the Exchange will make the following changes to the Nikkei-TOCOM Commodity Index components and weights on and after June 1, 2010.
These changes are subject to approval by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of the necessary modifications to the Market Rules of the Exchange.
- Gas oil is to be added to the components of the Nikkei-TOCOM Commodity Index
- Gas oil is to be added to the components of the Nikkei-TOCOM Nearby Month Commodity Index
- Gas oil is to be added to the components of the Nikkei-TOCOM Oil Index
- Calculation of Nikkei-TOCOM Gas Oil Index is to commence
- The component weight percentage of the Nikkei-TOCOM Commodity Index is to be set for the time period from June, 2010 until May, 2011
