Management Principles
Mission Statement
We aspire to foster highly reliable and convenient markets, which will serve as a public utility service by offering a hedging tool against price fluctuation of energy and metals, and providing benchmark prices. We also aim to provide a forum for investment management, and to contribute to the further development of the economy of Japan and the world.
Corporate Goal
We aspire to concert our efforts to firmly position ourselves as a primary commodity exchange in Asia, and also as a preeminent exchange in the world.
Operational Guidelines
Everyone at TOCOM shall work together towards fostering a truly vibrant market through proactively understanding the needs of stakeholders and increasing operational efficiency based on appropriate corporate governance. In addition, we, at TOCOM, shall always strive to introduce innovative ideas in order prevail in the competition among markets and to increase our corporate value.
